I think its the articulation on the modern figures that really does it for me, before 2003, no figure at that size had articulation even approaching the level of insanity the full action body had, and they are easily mixed and matched, great for customs, compatible with a ton of unrelated accessories and vehicles, and their own accessories can be infinitely combined, other than the breakage issues, they kind of represented the perfect humanoid figure at that size IMO The first of the 3A licensed Microman action figures are now up for pre-order at the Bambaland store. The 3A stuff looks cool, but I HATE cloth suits, and Julian (the clear one) is more expensive than the rest I love the throwback retro future insanity of the originals, and they will always hold a place in my heart, but their accessibility is a bit diminished in the US as I don't really want micronauts, and as crazy as it sounds, the stamp makes a difference to me
